The impressive original complex, designed by Lapadula in the early 1960s, is a government listed building.

As such, the regeneration focused both technically and aesthetically on reinterpreting the existing structure. Only obsolete materials and technologies were altered, bringing an overall sense of soberness despite some quite fundamental parts being radically regenerated.

This is also one of the first complexes in Italy and Europe to be awarded LEED Silver certification for existing buildings.

The interior was divided along pratical lines, using open spaces and offices/meeting rooms, but ensuring the revamp added modern aesthetics for a contemporary, open and transparent working space.
