The project develops a vast gallery that offers access to the tracks: space is defined by diverse and articulated forms and by the structural portals whose profile recalls the curvatures and sensibility of projects by Carlo Mollino and, what is more, the large structures in concrete deigned by Morandi for the salone dell’Automobile.
The gallery is screened on the exterior by large shading louvers that characterise its appearance towards the city; elements that can be found, with great strength, in the office tower planned to complete the intervention, and which terminates the western end of the station.
