Showroom Ponzio
In the elegant and historic heart of the Salario district, the new Ponzio showroom comes to life, an ambitious interior design project signed by Studio Transit. This new exhibition space makes its mark on the urban landscape with a bold and deeply contemporary character, conceived not simply as a container, but as a stage where design and matter blend in perfect harmony.
The architecture itself becomes the medium to narrate the innovation, quality, and vision that have always characterized the brand. Studio Transit’s design approach constantly dialogues with the pre-existing structure, enhancing its most fascinating features through daring and clean choices.
The building’s evocative existing vaults are enhanced and brought to the forefront thanks to custom-designed linear lighting. This light traces dynamic geometries that do not merely illuminate the environment, but orient visual perception and fluidly guide visitors’ paths through the space.
At the very center of the architectural composition stands a majestic metal staircase. Far more than a functional element, it is a true sculptural piece: a fluid and iconic feature that masterfully organizes the showroom across its different levels, serving as the visual anchor of the entire space.
The showroom revolutionizes the traditional concept of exhibition, transforming the product itself into architecture. Breaking away from classic exhibition paradigms, Ponzio’s iconic materials are not merely put on display; they become an integral part of the space. They are transformed into captivating tactile textures and three-dimensional patterns that envelop the environment, allowing visitors to physically perceive the versatility and excellence of the finishes.
Descending to the lower level, visitors enter an unexpected dimension: an immersive environment entirely dedicated to color. In this space, color ceases to be just a visual attribute and becomes a fully rounded sensory and narrative experience, designed to emotionally engage and surprise every visitor.
