- Angelini Headquarters

The new Factory Column – a close-up of the construction solutions we’ve adopted in our projects – is a perfect place to find out whats behind the form of our buildings.

So what is the recognisable ‘ribbon’ roof of the Angelini Headquarters  made of?

As you probably know – the central body of the Angelini Headquarters unwinds within a “ribbon” that folds around itself and acts as a roof.

We wanted to maintain the monolithic nature of the tape, so it was decided to use blocks of white stoneware with a “Palladian” effect, requiring installation of the individual pieces by hand, a finish which allowed the aesthetic continuity of the roofing of the multifunctional body.

To use this coating, it was necessary to create a uniform and smooth substrate with important thermal insulation and waterproofing performance characteristics – which we did with a special ‘mix’ of solutions.

Here are the ingredients:

1.GRES WITH “PALLADIANA” EFFECT RECOMPOSED ON MESH SHEET B&W TYPES (MIRAGE) EXTRA WHITE COLOR HIGH COLOR SOLIDITY FILLER FOR JOINTS TYPE “FUGAZERO ECO” (KERAKOLL) 36 kg / m2
