- Angelini Headquarters
The new Factory Column – a close-up of the construction solutions we’ve adopted in our projects – is a perfect place to find out whats behind the form of our buildings.
So what is the recognisable ‘ribbon’ cover of the Angelini Headquarters is made of?
As you probably know – the central body of the Angelini Headquarters unwinds within a “ribbon” that folds around itself and acts as a cover(second image in the post).
We wanted to maintain the monolithic nature of the tape, so it was decided to use blocks of white stoneware with a “Palladian” effect, requiring installation of the individual pieces by hand, a finish which allowed the aesthetic continuity of the covering of the multifunctional body.
